Celebrate Free Parks Day in the great outdoors! Join The Lands Council for an old growth hike on Mount Spokane. Enjoy a beautiful hike and learn about The Lands Council’s advocacy in the area. We will meet at the trail head at 10:00 am and we will start on the trail at 10:15 am.
Hike Difficulty: Moderate (0 - 500 ft Elevation Gain); 6-8 Miles
Directions:
At the first hairpin turn on the Summit Road, park in the lot near the sign that says Upper Kit Carson Trail. Keep your eye out for our sign. You have to be on the Summit road to get on this hike. Do not go to the LOWER Kit Carson trail, make sure it says UPPER.
Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.
