Volunteering with The Lands Council you get a rewarding experience that helps revitalize and protect the Inland Northwest’s forests, water, and wildlife. Here’s what volunteers help with:
Volunteers help us plant and maintain thousands of trees every year to regrow forests, shade and clean water, and provide habitat for a wide array of wildlife. Join our community tree planting events: Earth Fest and Reforest Spokane Day.
Through our Spocanopy program, volunteers help us plant street trees in low canopy covered neighborhoods to increase urban canopy in Spokane!
We annually organize the Spokane River Clean-Up. Each year, our volunteers remove over 4 tons of trash and recyclables from the Spokane River!
We are an organization with lots of ambition, but very few staff. Volunteers help us with fundraising, outreach, and events!
