After studying in the biodiverse ecosystems of Ecuador, Amanda completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at the University of San Francisco, California. She moved to the Inland Northwest to work in forest monitoring with the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. In 2009, she joined The Lands Council working to revitalize the Inland Northwest through watershed restoration. She is on the board of directors at Main Market Co-Op and Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and Northern Idaho. In her spare time she enjoys spending time on the Spokane River, gourmet cooking and baking, and good company.
