RIPARIAN RESTORATION SCHOOL TREE PLANTINGS

The goal of The Lands Council's Riparian Restoration program is to plant native vegetation along degraded streams in the Greater Spokane River watershed in order to improve water quality. The trees and shrubs that we plant help to prevent soil erosion, filter pollutants running off of farms and roads, cool stream temperatures and allow for more dissolved oxygen, and enhance fish and wildlife habitat.
