Calling all public lands enthusiasts! Cozy up and celebrate our public lands this November. The Lands Council will be hosting our Campfire Tales: Stories from our Public Lands, Trail Magic edition.
Have you ever been enthralled by the magic of the sun hitting a towering mountain? Have you been awed by the generosity of someone you crossed on the trail? Have you experienced Trail Magic on our public lands? Trail Magic is real, and we want to celebrate it with the oldest form of entertainment bringing community together to tell stories around the campfire.
We are looking for storytellers to share their tales about the astounding public spaces we have in the region and their experiences of Trail Magic.
Stories should be 8-10 minutes long. We will be available to help you craft your tale before the event. If you want to share your engaging story, please send us a two sentence pitch.
Come be in community with other local organizations and people that work to conserve, educate, and improve access to our public lands this fall. We hope to see you there!
