For 36 years, The Lands Council has worked diligently to protect and revitalize our Inland Northwest forests, water, and wildlife through community engagement, education, and action - and we remain committed to this mission now more than ever

Like many of you, we have been closely monitoring the developments of coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are taking appropriate preventive and precautionary measures for our staff, donors, and community at large.

As a result, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our 25th Annual April Showers Auction until further notice.

Now we need your help. The April Showers Auction & Dinner is our largest single fundraiser that supports our work. The Lands Council relies on money raised at the event to fund our programs, cover staff salaries, and continue our work protecting our local forests, water, and wildlife.

Without contributions from this important event, we are faced with a budgetary shortfall and we need your support.

To help us meet our fundraising goal of $60,000, we are asking you to help us meet that goal by donating in-lieu of attending the event. A virtual “paddle raise” will help make our projected fundraising goals.

Please help us weather this storm by making a donation today.

  • Raise your paddle online and donate $500 or more to help us reach our auction fundraising goal.

  • Become a Lands Council member with a monthly donation of $20 or more. Member giving provides the stability and flexibility we need to diligently protect our forests, water and wildlife.

  • Donate any amount to help us cover our program and staff expenses. Donations of $25, $50, $100, or more all get us closer to $60,000.

We will continue to update our members and supporters as things develop.

Thank you so much for standing with us and for your continued support in this strange and uncertain time.

On behalf of our board and staff we wish you safety, health, and wellness.

Gratefully,
