Emerging Leaders advisory board
Calling all Lands Council supporters and environmental enthusiasts!
We are looking for community members to serve on our brand new Emerging Leaders Advisory Board. The advisory board will consist of emerging leaders (ages 15-35) who are passionate about The Lands Council and want to help us expand our capacity to protect our regional forests, water, and wildlife. The board will welcome new members and volunteers, who are interested in putting their professional skill set to use to revitalize our regional environment & spread the message of environmental stewardship in the Spokane area. Members will assist with the many issues The Lands Council works on including climate action, habitat restoration, water sustainability, wildlife protection, and environmental education.
About The Lands Council :
We preserve and revitalize Inland Northwest forests, water, and wildlife through advocacy, education, effective action, and community engagement.
We collaborate with a broad range of interested parties to seek smart and mutually respectful solutions to environment and health issues.

Community Advisory Board Qualifications:
Excited to help The Lands Council progress as an organization
Passionate about protecting our regional environment
Available to meet once a month for board meetings and to work on projects
Brings professional skills, passion for this work, and/or experience that can be applied to helping out the board
Young leader, ideally between 15-35 years old
