TLC’s 2020 field season has officially come to a close. We held our final Marshall Creek planting, wrapped up our fall maintenance activities, and then cleaned, hauled, and stowed all of our tools and equipment for the winter. In total, we planted and maintained well over 1,500 trees since March! Despite the challenges of COVID, we had a very successful spring, summer, and fall. We are grateful to all the volunteers, interns, and community members who lent their time and energy to help us in our ongoing efforts to safely restore and enhance the health of our streams and creeks!
In other news, the next four Outdoor Adventure Destinations as part of Venture Outdoors — TLC’s community-based, outdoor adventure challenge for students and families — are posted at https://landscouncil.org/adventure. Check them out and send us a photo of your visit!
