Welcome Adam!

We are excited to announce that we have hired a Public Lands Program Director, Adam Gebauer! Adam has been a long-time volunteer and supporter of TLC and we are thrilled to have him join our team. Here’s a little more about Adam:

For over 20 years, Adam Gebauer has worked as a wildlife biologist. From roughed grouse, salamanders, and ticks in New England, to beavers, porcupines, prairie chickens, and riparian forests in the Southwest, to his nine years working closely with the five tribes of the Upper Columbia on wildlife habitat and forestry practices: Adam has a well-rounded background in conservation biology. He has also shared his love and knowledge about wild places as a classroom teacher, wilderness trip leader, and ski instructor.

Adam is excited to join The Lands Council as the Public Lands Program Director. He is looking forward to engaging in conversations and actions to protect and foster our public lands. His friends and dog are also excited that he gets to talk to others about these issues. When he’s not working, he can be found on a pair of backcountry skis, in his garden, or at the end of a climbing rope.
